OEM/ODM Customization Service Process

Relying on the manufacturing experience accumulated since 2008, independent production system, and global market service capabilities, Jinghe Tools has established a standardized OEM/ODM customization process that covers all aspects from demand docking to after - sales support, adapting to customization needs in different scenarios such as European courtyards and African agriculture. The core processes are as follows:

I. Demand Docking and Project Evaluation


1.Demand Communication: The foreign trade/customization exclusive team undertakes customer demands and clarifies core requirements.

ODM Demands: Focus on product function customization (such as strengthening power for mountain operations, optimizing energy - saving parameters for the European market), appearance design (color matching/grip feel), and performance indicators (battery life/durability standards).

OEM Demands: Clarify basic product selection (landmark categories such as chainsaws/lawn mowers), brand logo (LOGO printing position/process), packaging customization (multilingual instructions/regional compliance labels), etc.

At the same time, provide past customization cases (such as waterproof earth augers suitable for South American rainforests) and CE/GS certification qualifications to prove customization capabilities.


2.Feasibility Assessment: The R & D department assesses the technical feasibility of the demands in combination with the production capacity of its independent injection - molding and precision - processing workshops; the production department calculates the production capacity match; the quality department reviews compliance against the "Zhejiang Quality Mark" and the standards of the customer's region (such as EU environmental protection requirements), and outputs an assessment report and a preliminary plan.



II. Scheme Confirmation and Contract Signing


1.Scheme Output: For ODM demands, the R & D department issues product design drawings, performance parameter tables, and cost accounting; for OEM demands, provide sample renderings, packaging proofing plans, and production cycle plans, and clarify whether new molds are required (such as customized body shells).


2.Contract Signing: The marketing department drafts an official contract and clarifies core terms.

Product Standards: Bind international certifications such as CE/GS and the quality indicators agreed upon by both parties (such as continuous operation duration ≥ 8 hours).

Commercial Terms: Advance payment ratio (30% standard), delivery time, payment method, and exchange rate fluctuation response plan.

Rights and Interests Protection: Ownership of intellectual property rights (exclusive authorization can be agreed upon for ODM solutions), confidentiality clauses, and liability for breach of contract.

After review by the legal department, confirm and sign with the customer, and simultaneously initiate project approval.



III. Sample Development and Confirmation


1.Sample Trial - production: Led by the R & D department, samples are made in combination with the equipment of the independent production workshop (such as precision - processing machine tools), focusing on restoring the core customization requirements - such as strengthening the anti - corrosion coating of the body for African agricultural scenarios and optimizing noise control for European courtyard tools. Record process parameters during production to lay the foundation for mass production.


2.Sample Delivery and Confirmation: Send samples attached with inspection reports (including power performance and durability test data) to the customer, supporting on - site testing or video sample inspection. For feedback (such as adjusting the grip angle, optimizing LOGO clarity), complete modification and iteration until the customer signs the "Sample Confirmation Letter".



IV. Mass Production and Quality Control


1.Production Preparation: The production department formulates a production plan according to the order quantity. The purchasing department contacts qualified suppliers to purchase raw materials (such as high - grade steel, environmentally friendly paint). After arrival, the quality department conducts incoming quality control (IQC), and only after passing can the materials be warehoused. For customization projects that require new molds, complete mold debugging and trial production in advance.


2.Process Control: Implement the "three - inspection system" throughout production.

First - piece Inspection: The first finished product is jointly inspected and accepted by the R & D, production, and quality departments to confirm compliance with the sample standard.

Process Patrol Inspection: Sample and test key parameters (such as the stability of gasoline power output).

Finished - product Full Inspection: All products undergo appearance, performance, and safety certification compliance testing, and issue a "Finished - product Inspection Report".


3.Customized Processing: Complete customized links such as LOGO laser engraving and packaging printing (multilingual labels) to ensure compliance with the customer's brand image and regional market requirements.



V. Packaging Delivery and Logistics Tracking


1.Compliance Packaging: Customize packaging according to customer needs and transportation scenarios (such as moisture - proof wooden boxes for export by sea, lightweight color boxes for cross - border e - commerce), and mark product models, customized batches, CE/GS certification marks, and regional compliance information (such as FDA packaging standards).


2.Logistics Arrangement: According to the customer - designated method (sea/air/land transportation), the foreign trade department contacts cooperative logistics providers (covering major global ports) to handle customs declaration and clearance procedures. Provide the logistics tracking number at the same time to support full - process visual tracking to ensure on - time delivery.


3.Acceptance Confirmation: After the customer receives the goods, assist in quantity verification and sample quality inspection, sign the "Delivery Confirmation Note", and collect the balance payment (70% standard) at the same time.
